This exciting experience involves the students immersing themselves in hands-on experiences caring for the natural landscape. Students will take part in tree planting and regeneration of the site, learning about native plants of the area. Students will have the opportunity to carry out waterbug surveys on the Murray River and take part in recording water health data.

GE2-2 describes the ways people, places and environments interact
GE2-3 examines differing perceptions about the management of places and environments
Students will:
Take part in tree planting and nature regeneration of the Gol Gol environmental centre
Identify native species of plants and their importance in the environment
Participate in a water bug survey and collect data on river health
